-Use the proper grind for your brewer. Coarse grinds create a weak, watery coffee. A fine grind will make a stronger, more bitter brew. For espresso, use a fine grind.
-Use about 1-2 level tablespoons of ground coffee for every 8 ounces of water. Use more or less depending on your tastes and/or equipment.
-Start with fresh, cold water and brew coffee at around 200 degrees F for around 5 minutes.
