Young Hyson tea is the highest grade of Hyson tea. The leaves are picked before the rainy season of Sri Lanka to ensure a younger, higher quality leaf. The leaves are then twisted and dried with at a higher heat than other greens giving them a heavier body and slightly fuller flavor.
