After months of trying different flavors to bring out the best in our naturally smoked coffee, we are excited to have our first flavored smoked coffee ready just in time for BBQ season. Just like our plain smoked coffee, this coffee starts with a blend of South American beans that gets sent out to an actual local smoke house that we worked closely with to figure out the perfect amount of smoking for our beans (that’s right no smoke “flavoring” just real smoke!). We then had our flavor team create a spicy chipotle flavor that compliments the smokiness of the beans perfectly. Then—surprise!—as this delicious cup reaches the back of your palate…actual heat! Now we know not everyone is a fan of spice, so we kept the heat to a mild/medium level, and that only goes down as you add your lightener of choice.
