Details
This semi-fermented tea has large curled leaves that are greenish-black in color. Grown in the Southern Mountains of China’s Fujian Province, it produces a lively infusion with a very pleasing taste.
The tea falls between a green tea and a black tea, as it is only partially oxidized (fermented). Its flavor is uniquely its own – neither as sweet as a black tea nor as grassy as a green tea. The Chinese word “oolong” means “black dragon.”
This tea is sold loose leaf, meaning it will not arrive packed in tea bags.
