After the tremendous response we had in offering white tea, we decided to get an even higher grade. Originating from the Fujian province in China, Peony White Tea is plucked in the early Spring. These buds and leaves are steamed and dried immediately after picking, which helps retain the natural health benefits* of the tea.
As white tea is made out of young leaves and buds, it has more of amino acid theanine (has relaxing and mood enhancing properties) than green and black teas which are made from older leaves.
This tea is sold loose leaf, meaning it will not arrive packed in tea bags.

Steeping Instructions:
- 1-2 teaspoons per cup (White tea has a subtle flavor. Tea drinkers accustomed to other teas may prefer white teas brewed with extra tea)
- Use water that is approximately 185 degrees Fahrenheit (Bring water to a boil and then allow to cool for 30-60 seconds)
- Steep tea for 3-4 minutes
